Seasoned traveler, Ms. Terry Lou Nesbitt, age 67, reached her final destination March 10, 2025.

Terry's journey began November 29, 1957 in Kankakee, IL, with her birth to Edwin & Janet Simmons Nesbitt. They have preceded her in death.

Terry was a 1975 graduate of Herscher High School in Herscher, IL. She attended Kankakee Community College, where she completed various accounting courses.

Terry was a 30-year member of St. Joes Bowling League (formerly known as Tri-City Industrial League). She was a member of the Kankakee Women's Bowling Association, where she served as past representative for the Board of Directors.

Terry earned a 25-year participation plaque for attending the Women's National Bowling Tournament. She was also a 20-year member of the State of Illinois Women's Bowling Tournament.

Traveling with Terry were her siblings, Jim Nesbitt (Beverly) of Kankakee, IL, Carl Nesbitt (Darlene) of Kankakee, IL, Cathy Menard (Gary) of Baxter, TN, Steven Nesbitt of Bradenton, FL, and Karen Van Horn of Williamstown, WV.

Carl and Steven caught an earlier flight to Heaven.

Terry's love of travel allowed her to explore many different countries, including her recent trip to New Zealand and Australia.

Terry enjoyed sharing insights of her travels with her beloved nieces and nephews.

When Terry wasn't traveling, she was cuddled up with her cat, Lucky, while planning her next vacation.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais.

Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.

Private family inurnment will be held at All Saints Cemetery in Bourbonnais.

Memorials may be made to the family wishes.
