Peotone, IL - Russell Klipp, 90, of Peotone, IL passed away peacefully on Thursday August 28, 2025. He was born October 11, 1934 on the family farm in Peotone, IL, the oldest child of Robert W. and Isabelle (Hauert) Klipp.

Russell married Geraldine Bruens on September 4, 1954. She survives. He is also survived by sons, David (Carol) and Allen Klipp, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Carol Denault; brother and sister-in-law Robert J and Diane Klipp; brother-in-law Roy Bruens; sister-in-law Ruth (Bruens) Offermann and grandson Maxwell Klipp.

Russell enjoyed woodworking, fishing, harness races and golfing. He worked for many years at the Peotone Farmers' Elevator.

Visitation will be held at Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home in Peotone on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Peotone Cemetery.
