Patricia Mulvihill (Pat) Obituary

Patricia "Pat" Gawronski Mulvihill, age 88 of Bradley, passed away peacefully and surrounded by many loved ones on March 31, 2025 at St Mary's Hospital in Kankakee, IL.

Pat was born in Kankakee to Leo and Freda (McGee) Gawronski on July 3, 1936. She was a proud Catholic with fond memories of her time at St. Stanislaus School in Kankakee as a child and at St. Joseph's Church in Bradley later in life. Pat was a loving mom, grandma, and great grandma who spent most of her time babysitting, teaching and playing with grandchildren, and showing her family how to make her frosted sugar cookies. She was also an avid General Hospital fan - rarely missing an episode for 62 years. Pat retired from BBCHS where she spent many years working in the cafeteria.

Pat is survived by her sons, Jim (Missy) Mulvihill of Venice, FL and Tim (Robin) Mulvihill of Oswego, IL. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her son, Tom Mulvihill; her daughter, Judi Hadders-Manny; and two grandchildren, Mitchell Mulvihill and Alec "Mugs" Mulvihill.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and the family will observe a private memorial at a future date. The family requests that any memorials be made in her name to Uplifted Care of Bourbonnais at upliftedcare.org.

And finally, the family would like to thank the staffs at Bourbonnais Grove-Riverside Senior Life, La Bella of Clifton, and Uplifted Care for their compassion during her final months.
