Nancy Carol (LaCost) Pepin, age 89, of Tavares, Florida, formerly of Kankakee, Illinois, passed away on April 02, 2025. She is survived by her son, Jon Paul of Arizona; her daughter, Michele of Florida; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, three brothers and many nieces and nephews.
Nancy was deeply devoted to her family and friends, cherishing every moment spent with them. She found great joy in her creative pursuits, particularly ceramics crafting and china painting, where her artistic talents truly shone. Her passion for beauty extended to her home, which she lovingly remodeled and decorated, and to her garden, where she spent countless hours cultivating a colorful array of flowers and plants. Nancy's kind heart embraced all creatures, and she had a special affection for her grand-dog Moose, who was a beloved companion and a source of endless delight.
Nancy departed this world privately, as she wished, joining her late husband, Robert Pepin, Former Deputy Chief of Police for Kankakee, in eternal rest. No formal funeral service will be held, in keeping with her desires.
