Kankakee, IL - Lois Jensen, age 98, of Bonfield, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Heritage Village in Kankakee. She was born on September 16, 1926 in Bonfield, the daughter of Daniel and Elsie (Marth) Walter. Lois married Clarence Jensen on June 22, 1950 at Bonfield Evangelical United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on March 10, 1991.

Lois was a homemaker. She also taught Bible school for small children. Lois enjoyed doing word search books and puzzles. She liked listening to Bill and Gloria Gaither music and singing. She was a member of Bonfield Evangelical United Methodist Church.

Surviving are five sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas (Carol) Jensen of Herscher, Eugene (Debbie) Jensen of Providence Village, TX, Bruce (Cathy) Jensen of Kankakee, Gale (Lori) Jensen of Bonfield, and Keith (Darla) Jensen of Clifton; two daughters, Marlene Tetrault of Bradley and Charlene Clocksin of Bourbonnais; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Joyce Riegel of Bonfield; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Lois was preceded in death by her parents; and one grandson, Stephen Jensen.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home in Kankakee. The Funeral Service will be at 1:30 pm on Friday, July 18, 2025 at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home in Kankakee. Pastor Keith Blankenship will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Kankakee Memorial Gardens in Kankakee.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Bonfield Evangelical United Methodist Church.
