Judith Harvey, 81, of Kankakee, passed away at home in the early morning hours of Tuesday March 25, 2025 after an extended battle with frontotemporal dementia. Judy was born on June 30, 1943, in Kankakee, the daughter of Vernon and Evelyn Cordes. She retired from Armour Pharmaceuticals after 37 years of service. She enjoyed painting crafts, outdoor flowers and gardening, crocheting, antiquing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Judy is survived by her husband of 61 years, David Harvey; daughter, Stacey (James) Atkinson; daughter-in-law, Carrie Harvey; four brothers, one sister, 5 grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Timothy, Noah, Avery, and Elizabeth, and two great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Wade Harvey; and one brother. The family will celebrate her life in a private ceremony at a later date.
