Bourbonnais, Illinois - Harry David Bond, age 73 of Bourbonnais, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Riverside Miller Healthcare, Kankakee. Harry was born in Decatur, IL on May 24, 1952, the son of Robert A. and Mary Lois Bond. He married Deborah Hendrickson on April 20, 1974.

Harry and Deborah were blessed with two children, Annette (Michael) Hrach and Robert (Charity) Bond. They have five grandchildren, Elise, David, Will, Alexis and Jordan. Harry had two sisters, Becky who preceded him in death and Mary (James) McCauley.

Harry graduated from Millikin University with a B.A. in Accounting and from the University of Illinois with an MBA.

Harry was a longtime Chairman of Monical's Pizza Corporation.

Harry loved Christmas and O-Gauge model trains. He was active at various hospitality organizations, Boy Scouts, teaching Jr High Sunday School, Junior Achievement program at the Kankakee County Career Center, and Riverside Healthcare. His favorite activity was taking walks with his grandchildren while making up stories about the adventures of their favorite stuffed animals - Tex Bear and Minkey the Monkey. Harry was an incredible husband, father, and grandfather. Harry will be incredibly missed but never forgotten.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2025, followed by a luncheon and gathering time to share memories at Grace Community United Methodist Church in Bourbonnais.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverside Healthcare Foundation Magnet Nursing Fund or Grace Community United Methodist Church, Bourbonnais.
