West Allis, WI - Annette Marie Frizzell, age 68, died on August 9, 2025 in West Allis, Wisconsin. Born October 13, 1956 to Margaret and Alfred Kaufman of Kankakee, Annette graduated from Bishop McNamara High School in 1974. She married David Frizzell on June 26, 1976, and they ultimately settled in Aroma Township, where they raised their son Craig (1980), before moving to Momence in 2004 and later back to Aroma Township.
She earned her bachelor's degree from Olivet Nazarene University in 2000 and worked for many years in the bookkeeping and accounting fields. After retiring in 2021, she moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to be closer to her granddaughter, who was her life's greatest joy.
Annette loved to crochet and has blessed countless friends and family with handmade gifts. Her sense of humor and love for her friends will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as by David, her husband of nearly 40 years. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Brooke Frizzell, of Milwaukee; her granddaughter, Margaret Frizzell, of Milwaukee; her sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Ken Norris of Union, Kentucky; and her brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Phyllis Kaufman of Endicott, New York.
Visitation will take place at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:00am. A memorial service will be held at Clancy-Gernon at 12:30pm, followed by interment of ashes at Aroma Township Cemetery.
