Alvin A. "Al" Martin, age 78, of Bradley passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at his home. He was born September 15, 1946 in Kankakee, the son of Alex & Ellen (Good) Martin. Alvin married Martha Echeverria on April 18, 1980 in Kankakee.

Al was a machinist, retiring from Crown Cork & Seal.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served from 1968 to 1974 during the Vietnam Conflict.

Surviving are his wife of nearly 45 years, Martha Martin of Bradley; one son, Larry Martin of FL; two daughters, Belinda (Javier) Rosas of Bradley and Alma Osiris Lopez & Irwin of TX; two sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Conklin of Bourbonnais and Nancy (Rick) Best of Bourbonnais; one brother, Terry Martin of Bradley; two grandchildren, Javier Jr. (Kaitlyn)Rosas and Thalia Rosas; two great-grandchildren, Eliana "Ellie" Serna and Mateo Rosas; and nieces and nephews, Diana (Jim) Frey, Jackie (Bill) Pinnow, Jeff Conklin, Duane (Darana) Conklin, Michelle (Tom) Goines, Shawn (Ralph) Schuler, Troy (Krystal) Martin, Ericka (Joshua) Prairie, Elise (Mike) LaFine, Michael Clouser, and Laura Martin. Al is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Arnold "Arnie" Martin and Ronald "Ron" Martin.

Visitation will be held from 10 until the time of the Noon funeral service on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. Interment will follow at Mound Grove Gardens in Kankakee.
